I am passionate about helping older individuals and their families navigate aging and caregiving. My favorite parts of my job are relationship management, developing new initiatives and presentations. Engaging and effective communication is key to successful programs, and my background in marketing, communications and gerontology helps inform my strategy and tactics.

Thought leadership

- Leverage knowledge of longevity planning to identify new resources, gaps in current offering and newsworthy topics to share with Raymond James financial advisors and clients.​

- Receive consistently positive feedback and high survey scores for longevity planning presentations in variety of settings: Raymond James conferences, industry conferences (Financial Advisor Magazine/Next Chapter, Certified Senior Advisor), client events recruiting meetings.

- Act as subject matter expert for Raymond James client-facing articles and podcasts on caregiving, aging, living in retirement and other related topics.

- Manage relationship with MIT AgeLab and Raymond James participation in Preparing for Longevity Advisory Network.

- Creation of guides to assist financial advisors and clients understand needs and associated costs related to longer lifespans and the important planning topics that families should discuss.

- Selected to participate in Next Chapter Leadership in Action Financial Wellness and Longevity study group (2022).

Strategy and execution

- Increased month-over-month utilization of longevity planning resources by financial advisors and their clients since the program's inception in 2018.

- Development of Raymond James financial advisor and client experiences surrounding longevity planning resources, including seminars, engagement processes and new product rollouts.

- Manage longevity planning team and partnering with Wealth Planning resources on billing, reporting and data in support of the longevity planning initiative.

Collaboration

- Partner with firm partners on advisor training opportunities (Hartford Funds, BlackRock, Columbia Threadneedle Investments).

- Liaise with key departments around the firm including Private Client Group, practice management, technology, succession planning, Senior and At-Risk Clients and human resources to identify and execute opportunities for program integration and cross-promotion.

- Ongoing development of technology requests for increased ease of use of longevity planning resources and increased automation for financial advisors and clients.

- Collaborate with teams in the UK and Canada to leverage U.S.-based longevity offering for international business units as appropriate.

- Foster ongoing relationships with Procurement, Supervision, Legal and Compliance to ensure offering is compliant with industry regulations and firm policies.

- Formal rollout of longevity planning suite of resources: ClearMatch Medicare, EverSafe, PinnacleCare, Broadspire Care Management and Everplans. Included navigation of firm policies and industry regulations surrounding compliance, supervision and privacy.

- Collaborated with data analyst to establish regular reporting schedules and formats with third-party resources.

- Establishment of Longevity Advisory Board, engaging with thirty financial advisors in varying affiliations across the firm to provide feedback on longevity planning existing offering and strategic planning.
